Dubai’s Taxi Corporation has announced the launch of iconic London limousines on the streets of Dubai, in partnership with the global digital mobility platform “Bolt.” This step aims to provide an innovative transport experience for tourists and residents, further enhancing Dubai’s position as a global hub for luxury and modernity.

The partnership with “Bolt” targets the provision of electronic vehicle booking solutions, contributing to the enhancement of the digital mobility experience and expanding smart transport services in Dubai. The market value of the taxi and electronic transport sector in Dubai is estimated at around 6 billion AED. The first phase of this partnership includes a limited trial run of the limousines, with plans to expand the service to include taxis in the next phase.

Since the service launched on December 2, 2024, the platform has seen great success, with 12,000 drivers and 160 limousine companies joining the “Bolt” network. It has also been fully integrated with the Dubai Taxi fleet. Future plans for “Bolt” include expansion to other emirates and new sectors, including food delivery, scooter and electric bike rentals, and car rentals.

“Bolt” also aims to provide competitive and transparent pricing with no hidden fees, making mobility in Dubai more accessible and comfortable. The “Bolt” app allows users to track drivers in real time and offers multiple payment options, further enhancing the e-transport experience.

Additionally, the corporation aims to achieve the government’s vision of shifting 80% of taxi trips to electronic booking in the near future, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to making the city smarter and more sustainable.
